Dante’s Infernomime

“WE’RE DEMONS! WE SHOULD BE TORMENTING THE SOULS OF MORTAL SINNERS! NOT PLAYING MONOPOLY!MEPHISTOPHELES

Brief

Written and rehearsed in only two days, Dante’s Infernomime was a satire of the Divine Comedy, complete with dancing demons, angelic horses, and two very confused poets.

Chosen as the University of York Pantomime Society’s annual ‘Panto in a Weekend’, the show was cast at random, and performed for free on the 18th of March, 2018.

Working with Calvin on Writers Circle was one of the most fun writing experiences I’ve ever had.
